Job Description:

Our Rehoming Centre in Darlington is looking for a Hydrotherapist to oversee the rehabilitation facilities at the centre. The unit has a dual purpose, to manage critical conditions from a therapeutic perspective and to serve as an environmental enrichment for longer term residents.

Job Responsibilities:

Managing the rehabilitation suite, you will receive referrals from the centre team and be working with colleagues from Veterinary and Behaviour teams to design and deliver exercise programmes, tailored to individual patient, ensuring clinical and environmental wellbeing. This will also involve providing feedback to relevant teams about patients, maintaining accurate records, and providing high standards of customer service to the members of the public and adopters. Responsible for your own self-development you will also keep up to date with the latest regulations, requirements and trends in canine hydrotherapy and physiotherapy to help us deliver the best possible care.

Job Requirements:

With relevant qualifications in canine hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and water pool management, you will have prior experience of overseeing and supervising other members of the team. An excellent communicator you will have a knowledge of dogs and their welfare requirements.
