Job Description: Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on King Air 200/350/1900 and/or C-12 aircraft. Is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness. These tasks are performed on avionics & electrical systems, engines, flight controls and airframe components. Repairs are performed using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. Reads and interprets manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Job Responsibilities: Deploy the overseas locations to support operations requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work place. Perform duties as outlined in the purpose of this position. Comply with the FAA regulations as applicable. Comply with aircraft records procedures outlined in DA PAM 738-751. Perform aircraft recovery missions as necessary. Know, understand and comply with the requirements outlined in the contract performance work statement (PWS). Know and understand the functions and requirements of computerized maintenance software. Comply with written Customer and company maintenance and logistics procedures and policies. Perform engine run or taxi operations. Meet requirement to obtain certification within 12 months of employment. Ensure aircraft discrepancies are properly recorded in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and within the terms of the contract. Job Requirements: Must be knowledgeable of Flight Clearances, NATOPS manuals, Stores Loading Manuals and associated checklists, NAVSEA OP 5 OPNAV 8000.16 SeriesMust be knowledgeable of technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 Series; be knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures; possess a working knowledge of applicable aircraft. Distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth. Must have a Secret clearance and be able to maintain it. Twenty (20) years of extensive experience/background in the field of Aviation Ordnance with (ten) 10 years of the last (twenty) 20 years in direct aircraft loading, maintenance, and weapons system testing. Must have experience supervising daily flight operations as well as personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline is highly preferred, High School graduate or equivalent required. Capable of writing with clarity and technical accuracy Lift/push/pull minimum of fifty (50) pounds. Working environment will be both office and outdoor settings which individual can be exposed to extreme weather conditions for extended period of time.
