Are you someone who can build a healthy working relationship with individuals while evaluating compliance to engineering procedures? We are looking for a Quality Management (QM) Advisor to be located in one of the areas identified below to support QM activities across the franchise.

The individual in this role will support the execution of the Station Operations Quality Assurance, programs within their respective regions to meet annual targets. Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently schedule/complete all Audits in order to meet internal deadlines and quotas.
  • Responsible for working with Managers and Supervisors in all Regions and assigned Station Operations departments to help identify performance trends, gaps, and preventive and corrective actions.
  • Assist with policy and procedure development.
  • Develop and revise Quality Assurance checklists in conjunction with input from Process Owners (i.e. Engineering) related to Station Operations work.
  • Data enter all results of audits and non-conformances.
  • Responsible to manage/execute upon Focused Audit requests in consultation and collaboration with various groups in the Business Unit (ex. Distribution Operations,
  • Safety, Technical Training, etc.) Works on complex field related issues, LSR investigations, and non-conformance disputes.
  • Perform on-site observations to provide feedback in improving quality and provide recommendations on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform audits/assessments on work completed by company and contractor workforces to confirm work quality, compliance, and work performance adherence to established standards and codes.

Job Requirements:

  • OACETT Designation.
  • Good working knowledge of Company software programs such as Outlook, Workday, GIS, LMS, etc.
  • Ability to work completely independent, while managing and scheduling their own work, time, and priorities.
  • Proven people and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Ability to self-manage schedule and priorities, and take an independent and proactive approach to problem solving and offering solutions.
  • Related university degree and four‐plus years’ experience OR six‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
  • Station Operations experience.
  • ASQ Designation (ex. Certified Quality Auditor -CQA).
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in various standard computer applications, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid G driver’s license.
