Job Description

Lead and manage investigations / audits and recommends improvement actions to enhance performance. Identify trends and address system and process deficiencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Design and deliver training and communications to increase awareness on best practices across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
• People Development: Manage the effective achievement of objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize performance
• Safety, Quality & Environment: Participate in the development of all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures and comply with them to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
• Strategy: Implement the Function/Department strategy to ensure alignment with Company’s strategy
• Policies and Procedures: Implement relevant policies, processes and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
• Budget Management: Contribute to the preparation of the Function/Department budget to ensure alignment with the approved set budget
• Participate and represent the company in safety investigations, leading on-ground teams to ensure immediate-presence team to analyse and report on major incidents
• Research, collect and consolidate external data to develop accurate performance indicators measures
• Liaise with GCAA and aviation authorities on a wide range of operational matters to ensure compliance with regulations
• Accountable to the GCAA for all quality issues within the Etihad Technical department. The TQM shall endorse all CAR Part V (CAR 145) and EASA 145 required documentation, including the Maintenance Organisation Exposition prior to submission to the GCAA or other NAA?s
• Analyse reports, assessments and indicators to identify trends and develop recommendations to improve quality and safety standards, reduce risks and ensure compliance with internal / external regulations
• Develop safety / quality reports and review findings to provide accurate communication to senior management on potential risks and issues
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in designing, planning and delivering business improvement initiatives to support in achieving safety KPI targets
• Maintain record and documentation control in accordance with record-keeping standards and timelines to ensure an organized and compliant system
• Lead and manage audits, inspections and investigations to support the timely and accurate identification of root causes and adoption of corrective actions,
• Lead and monitor the execution of audits and inspections to ensure the monitoring of compliance with standards and regulations
• Identify trends and address system and process deficiencies with management leading change ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and improving safety standards
• Prepare, open, host and close audit meetings to ensure audit scope is properly understood and all information is unambiguously collected
