Job Responsibilities

• Providing Fuel SME support to the business.
• Maintaining Etihad Fuel Manual up to date and in compliance with regulatory requirement and industry standards.
• Performing initial and recurrent technical supplier evaluations in all operations functional areas to ensure outsourced operational functions meet regulatory requirements as well as Etihad and Industry standards.
• Ensuring operations functional areas maintain continuous compliance with Etihad supplier evaluation processes requirements.
• Conducting compliance monitoring and Quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with EASA TCO requirements.
• Liaising with relevant regulatory bodies in coordination with Manager Quality Alliances & Suppliers and Head of Quality Assurance – Technical.
• Deputizing Manager Quality Alliances and Suppliers for the areas of responsibility;
• Additional duties and responsibilities, as reasonably expected, may be assigned by Manager Quality Alliances & Suppliers and Head of Quality Assurance – Technical.
• Conducting quality assurance and compliance monitoring activities, compiling reports, preparing audit checklists and providing feedback in accordance with company procedures.
• Remaining independent and impartial while performing duties.
• Planning audit logistics in the most efficient way with the focus on the optimization of costs.
• Remaining up to date with regulatory requirements and industry standards for the areas of responsibility.
• Participating in the Code Share operations oversight program in the capacity of the Lead Auditor, identifying operational hazards and associated risks to codeshare operations.
• Monitoring safety & compliance in the areas of Fuel & Fueling Operations at all scheduled and ad hoc locations.v
• Performing inspections as part of Etihad commitment to IATA Fuel Quality Pool.
• Ensuring Etihad activities in IATA Fuel Quality Pool are compliant with IFQP requirements.
• Performing analysis and assessments of the data produced by IFQP ensuring integration of the data into Etihad Safety & Quality Management systems.

Job Requirements

• University Degree or Diploma
• At least 6 years of aviation experience;
• At least 3 years of Quality Assurance / Compliance Monitoring experience
• Aviation Fuel and Fuelling Operations or identical training
• Preferably previous experience with IATA Fuel Quality Pool
