Job Description:
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Service (DHHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), Office of Global Regulatory Operations and Policy (OGROP), Office of Quality Management System (OQMS), which is responsible for ensuring that all human and animal and medical devices are safe and effective., that cosmetics, food additives, drugs and medicated feeds for food producing animals, and radiation emitting devices are safe.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as the technical authority for topics within the assigned quality program and as technical information resource on general quality management systems issues.
- Defines and establishes short-and long-range plans for the program.
- Manages and coordinates the development and implementation of major quality initiatives.
- Has the lead for managing one or more quality program areas.
