Job Responsibilities: Engages in fire district activities such as inspections, public education, pre-incident planning. Performs similar and incidental duties as necessary. Maintains a generally positive attitude and helps to foster a team environment. Maintains facilities and equipment. Participates in training and maintains an acceptable skill level. Responds to emergencies and performs necessary duties required to mitigate incidents. Directs personnel with regard to (EMS) Emergency Medical Services activities at the scene as required. Job Requirements: Pass and maintain the District’s medical and health standards physical, as well as a suitability assessment, background check, and reference checks. Successful completion of Thurston County Medic One requirements within 90 days of hire.
