Job Description: As an Accommodation Manager in a Higher Education Establishment with G4S, you’ll provide day to day support for the Duty Shift Manager and be a key support in the delivery of service on a day to day basis. Your role is to support in the general provision of University Protection Accommodation services and/or additional events/activities, ensuring the crime prevention initiatives are managed and delivered to the relevant university groups, students and societies. You will also manage support to students and staff and to enhance the student experience. Job Responsibilities: To provide management reporting as required to meet the service standard and demonstrate compliance with the specification’s key performance indicators. Ensure 100% compliance with the manpower requirements of the contract and to provide a clear register of attendance to support invoicing. To maintain communication and a close working understanding relationship with local authorities/police, emergency services and Accommodation Services. It’s a varied role that includes daily interaction with stakeholders and ensuring all security protocols are adhered to and managing security incidents. Job Requirements: You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key, You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have from some security experience and your SIA licence, however it’s not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
