Job Description:
The world’s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Global Security Operations Center Supervisor. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor is responsible for the execution of day to day GSOC operations and has direct oversight of the technician group assigned to the center. The Supervisor will ensure the proficient monitoring of and response to various alarm, access control and emergency notification systems for many of the client’s facilities globally and will also ensure actions consistent with documented policies and procedures are adhered to by the technician staff. The GSOC Supervisor will also be responsible for staff scheduling, training and disciplinary items. This position works under limited supervision, requires excellent multi-tasking skills and a high degree of successful decision making during stressful situations. Responses to global and 911 emergency calls will be managed by the GSOC Technicians and the Supervisor may direct the process during these incidents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper monitoring of local and global events that may impact the client’s operations and employees
- Oversee the GSOC response to alarms and security related incidents at the campus and all field offices
- Monitor the weather events that may have an impact on the client’s employees and facilities
- Oversee the operation of security communications systems (radio, cell phones, computer network, and telephone) and security systems
- Ensure that GSOC Technicians properly coordinate activities of mounted and dismounted patrol as prescribed by procedure and special assignment instructions
- Monitor GSOC Center / Staff activities in order to provide feedback and support to the G4S Operations Manager and the client’s Security Operations Manager as needed
- Ensure the proper monitoring of security access control systems, alarm systems, CCTV and other control programs and systems that protect company employees, contractors, visitors and assets
- Ensure proficient and timely coordination of daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance testing to ensure device functionality
Job Requirements:

- Attention to detail
- Four years of experience in a security Control Center environment of similar size and complexity
