Job Description: We are looking for a full-time Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager (ASPICE) for our headquarters in the greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and planning for software certification tasks carried out by the SQA/Support team including document creation and software process auditing in support of ASPICE developed products. This is not a people-management role. Instead, it's managing the ASPICE process. Other essential functions include: Job Responsibilities: Analyze software issues for root cause in the areas of requirements, testing or processes Provides reliable solutions to a wide range of difficult problems including evaluation of new technologies to improve existing functions Make substantial contributions to certification of software products Demonstrates broad understanding of Garmin’s business model including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing Lead efforts to ensure life cycle data is compliant with ASPICE (Automotive) requirements, including the successful closure of SQA audits and completion of required documents Provides technical input to certification plan and completion documents Actively encourage collaboration and professionalism in a team environment with other Garmin associates and customers to achieve goals Contributes to the response and resolution of issues discovered during audits Exemplifies Garmin’s Mission, Vision, Values and Quality Policy and proactively works to improve Garmin’s image and culture Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner Mentors less experienced engineers within the department Suggests, defines and documents new or improved processes for software quality assurance Participates in and support internal/external quality or certification audits, including presentation of information during audits Partner with software development teams to promote software improvement based on root cause analysis Job Requirements: Driven and self-motivated with a proven track record in successfully executing projects of any scale or complexity Demonstrates ability to work independently with a high degree of competency Demonstrates proficient knowledge of Garmin product lines, customers, processes and procedures Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a cross-functional setting with business partners ISO/IEC 15504, CMMI, Automotive Spice (ASPICE) experience AIAG Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) or VDA experience Job Details: Company: Garmin Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Kansas City, KS, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.com
