Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as Fitness Supervisor. This newly created position is responsible for coordinating the management, delivery and strategic direction of high-quality fitness programs across City-managed aquatic centres to optimise commercial return and customer experience. Job Responsibilities: Overseeing the operations of all fitness centres to ensure compliance, progression, staff training and development, and reputation management are always achieved. Provide professional customer service to clients and stakeholders to ensure service issues are resolved in relation to the delivery of services and programs. Actively promoting and adhering to our City values, WH&S, policies and procedures, relevant legislation, regulations, standards and industry guidelines Identifying, developing, implementing and evaluating additional revenue-generating fitness programs that contribute to the provision of additional services to the community and our members. Responsibility for front of house customer service, dealing directly with members and prospective members and managing and monitoring the fitness centre teams to ensure a high level of customer service and service delivery is provided at all times in all interactions and actions. Successfully identifying and implementing operational improvement strategies to enhance the outcomes and reputation of all gym programs and group fitness and aqua programs, and to ensure growth and viability of the programs. Liaising with centre management and Program Team Leaders on relevant events and issues with regards to the fitness programs and provide relevant reports as required. Leading and managing all fitness centre staff including contractors, undertaking all recruitment activity and job-specific training for the team, as well as managing staff rosters, timesheets and performance reviews. Commercial responsibility for the financial operations of the fitness centres, including budgets, forecasting, reporting, staff wages and financial responsibility for the success of the programs. Developing and implementing gym programs and group fitness and aqua classes to ensure teaching and programs are consistent with national guidelines, a high standard of program delivery is maintained and that all members gain value from participating in the programs. Assisting with promoting the fitness centres and driving membership growth with sales and marketing initiatives.
