Job Description: The position will consult with business areas and technical specialists to research, analyse and implement business and systems requirements, which support the delivery of business outcomes. Through liaison with relevant stakeholders, business users and Organisational Services, the position will operate in accordance and compliance with Council's ITIL standards Job Responsibilities: Manage and support a range of corporate and Directorate systems and databases Develop subject matter expertise in directorate Line of Business systems administration. Analyse, plan and support directorate ICT activities and implementation of both directorate and corporate projects. Contribute to directorate ICT governance activities. Identify and capture detailed business requirements, improvement opportunities and map effective problem statements. Develop rapport with and maintain positive relationships with directorate and corporate stakeholders. Assess the validity of projects and solutions to ensure business requirements translate into realised business outcomes. Develop and document system configuration and technical specifications for inclusion in document libraries. Produce reports and briefing notes to support decision making. Make a positive contribution to the business by improving the way we do things. Travel within City administration and depot locations is a requirement of this position.
