Hampshire Constabulary are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated training designer to develop learning materials using traditional and innovative techniques which will be delivered to our police workforce.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in the designing training materials and packages using a range of methods and skills, for example, classroom, online, blended learning and immersive materials. Also, existing experience in scoping, storyboarding and designing new training packages to meet identified needs is required.
As a competent designer you would also have the knowledge and understanding about the evaluation of training and skillful build such levels of assessment into the materials you design.
As the post holder you will design learning materials to be delivered for new training programmes and redesigning existing materials to meet identified needs within the workforce. The role requires you to undertake continuous assessment/validation/evaluation of the training programmes, ensuring that it is appropriate to the needs of individuals, the organisation and is of a consistently high standard.
- Sound knowledge of law, policy and practice in the field of anti-discrimination
- Experience in Training needs analysis, design, delivery, assessment and evaluation of training.
- Able to demonstrate current competence in subject matter area.
