Job Description:

This Manager role in MECG (Marketing eCommerce Consulting Group) is directly accountable 2 key areas. Firstly, for operating reactive support under our Support for All framework across EMEA (550+ hotels), leading a group of 4 executives in managing the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure hotel satisfaction against the level of support delivered by the team. In this role, the Manager is responsible for measuring team performance against specific KPIs – i.e. hotel satisfaction, turn-around time – and collaborating with the Senior Manager to optimize service delivery. Additionally, the Manager leads on project-managing the implementation of regional/global technology or process solutions to drive further efficiency in hotel support and enable the team to scale services against a growing portfolio of properties in the region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing hotel complex queries requiring escalations to other teams within the wider marketing organization.
  • Overseeing the EMEA Marketing Learning Hub to proactively ensure classes and materials are updated where necessary.
  • Scheduling the production of in-house empowerment resources – to save on agency fees – and the QA/proofread of all material prior to delivery into the business.
  • Collaborating with APAC counterparts to maintain and optimize the Marketing Learning Hub, aligning on development roadmap and deployment and QA of new features and enhancements, to provide hotel teams with an intuitive, deep learning experience.
  • Leading a group of 4 executives in dealing with the daily cases submitted by hotels in EMEA on marketing and eCommerce topics.
  • Supporting the coordination and participating in WebEx live training sessions to the EMEA portfolio.
  • Project-managing tech or process solutions to streamline operations in order to drive efficiencies and enable us to scale hotel support against the growing portfolio of hotels in the region.
  • Measuring team performance against internal KPIs and optimizing service delivery.
  • Project-managing the delivery of our annual empowerment plan – including updates to the existing library of resources and production of new material to address training gaps.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Previous experience with delivering training (written and/or webinars)
  • Required Qualifications
  • Proficient English (written & spoken)
  • Any Licenses or Certificates Required: n/a
  • Business customer service focused individual
  • Exceptionally high standards of quality in personal work outputs
  • Ability to think critically and analytically
  • Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop)
  • Sound e-commerce/digital marketing experience
  • CMS Platforms (Drupal/Wordpress)
  • Ability to evaluate the aesthetic appeal and content of training materials
  • Solid Management Experience: People Manager/Project
  • Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.): n/a
  • Strong experience in Marketing field and management
  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent or experience in lieu thereof
