Job Description:

Within this team the focus of this role is to help drive the HSBC story through compelling content that engages identified audiences and has a measurable impact on reputation and/or employee engagement. The role-holder will help undertake the full end-to-end service of best-in-class multimedia production from idea conception through to content creation and delivery, with particular reference to content optimised for the web and social media.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Global Businesses, regions and geographies to ensure seamless delivery of content for Group channels.
  • Plan strategically to optimise content delivery around the themes and issues that will best improve HSBC’s reputation, in sympathy with the communications goals of the broader organisation
  • Develop and maintain relationships on a matrix and virtual basis across various functions, regions and geographies
  • Influence and advise stakeholders considering commissioning multimedia content to ensure best-in-class story-telling techniques are adopted to engage audiences.
  • Support the planning and development of content which contributes to our Group Reputation objectives.
  • Manage agency suppliers effectively to maintain high production standards. Manage production budgets, working with agency suppliers to identify cost savings.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to work within an ambiguous environment, prioritise and reconcile competing demands and resolve complex
  • Ability to contribute strategically to the overall communication response to key campaigns, projects and issues.
  • Ability to understand business issues and devise strategic planning solutions that deliver results, constructing fresh approaches where appropriate and making connections to other issues.
  • Experience of developing compelling and innovative multimedia stories covering high profile and complex subject matters.
