Job Description: We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead NOPSEMA with sound judgement, accountability and robust regulatory decision-making. You will provide visionary leadership and influence organisational culture through a period of sectoral transformation. The CEO is an independent statutory office holder, appointed by the Commonwealth Minister for Resources, and the term of the incumbent ends in September 2025. Job Responsibilities: Rack record of leading organisations and working with your Executive team to manage change and achieve results Demonstrated leadership at Executive, Board, State and Commonwealth Government sector level, or as a corporate executive within industry Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with industry, government and key stakeholders Critical thinking ability to conceptualise and analyse options and ideas in the context of legislation, policy and regulations.
