Job Responsibilities:

• You will proactively support the Team Leader and the team to successfully achieve the Strategic Community & Operation Plan deliverables.
• In this role you will lead by example, provide mentoring and a high level of advice and demonstrate exemplary behaviour in the undertaking of the role as a Senior Fire Safety Officer.
• As a senior member of the team, you will undertake more complex proactive audits and inspections in accordance with Council’s fire safety programs, ensuring all work including research, field inspections and taking appropriate regulatory enforcement is conducted to a high standard. You will undertake all work in a manner that is consistent with legislation and in the public interest.
