Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources the HR Administration Manager will lead and coach the UK HR Administration Teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive and efficient administrative support function for the wider HR Team and business. You will ensure that all defined administrative tasks are managed effectively to ensure that deadlines are met and the benefits of best practice are realised.

Job Responsibilities:

In this exciting and busy role you will manage the HR Administration Team to ensure a high level of service delivery, quality and compliance – sharing successes and inspiring confidence across the Team. You will build and maintain effective working relationships across HR and Operational Business areas through effective communication and proactive engagement. The HR Administration Manager plays a lead role in the review and improvement of administrative processes and procedures, recommending and facilitating changes to maintain an effective and efficient support function. Reviewing existing processes through the ‘eye of the customer’, you will be a champion of change to deliver continuous improvement.

A key element of this role will be to facilitate the sharing of best practice across the Team, to enhance standardisation of working practices and ensure that the benefits of good practice are obtained through coaching and development. Ensuring high quality data inputting is monitored and accurate, paying particular attention to data which will impact on pay and where appropriate auditing the input from the Recruitment System is vital to the success of this role.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience leading and coaching a Team within a high volume process driven/automated administrative setting, preferably within an HR environment. A methodical and organised work style is essential, combined with the ability to challenge current practices and deliver business practical solutions in a high energy and ever changing environment. You will need a good working knowledge of HR Systems and Microsoft Office (Word – including volume mail merge, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Visio) to help produce, interpret and analyse core Management Information/metrics for the business. Above all you will be a confident, strong relationship builder who remains calm under pressure and has the drive and determination to deliver results in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. This is a maternity cover position, offered on a 6 month secondment basis.
