Job Description:

The Manager Business and Industry development ensures that Latrobe City Council delivers on its primary focus, building business capacity, economic diversity, and job creation within the local and regional economy. You will be responsible for the provision of the Business and Industry Development functions to deliver on the Council Plan and be responsible for collaborating in supporting investment attraction. You will ensure continual improvement is achieved through ongoing review of business process within the area of corporate responsibility and demonstrated leadership in people management and development.

Job Requirements:

• Current COVID-19 vaccination in line with Council Policy.
• Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children’s Check.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• Extensive (5 or more years) management experience in managing an economic development team.
• Expertise and proven ability in successfully leading, managing, and delivering the competencies as outlined under specialist skills and experience.
