Job Description:

Cumberland City Council operates 14 education and care services across the Cumberland Local Government Area, including long day care and OOSH (out of school hours) services.Council is looking for Education and Care trainees to join our team and develop their career in the industry alongside our professional and skilled staff. Traineeships involve gaining a nationally recognised qualification whilst learning on the job and undertaking formal training via correspondence with Council’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Job Requirements:

• The ability to meet deadlines and adhere to a training plan
• A commitment to learning and a genuine interest in early childhood education and care
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be 18 years of age or over.
