Job Description:

The City of Sydney is seeking a talented and active person for the position of Research Project Officer in the City of Sydney’s Strategy & Communications Unit.

The successful applicant will have excellent technical, research, analysis and report writing skills.

The role involves management of the Research team’s spatial and information databases, including:

Job Requirements:

• Database maintenance
• Analysis and reporting of information
• Spatial mapping and creation of dashboards
• Data collection

Qualification & Experience:

• Applicants will have tertiary qualifications in Data Science,
• Spatial Systems, Urban Geography or similar. Applicants must demonstrate superior computer skills and an ability to work in a small team and meet deadlines. Knowledge and experience with ArcGIS are required
