Job Description:

The Oasis is seeking a vibrant, motivated and talented individual who can add value to our already positive work culture.
As our Customer Service Officer, you will be the face of the Centre by serving as a front line representative, greeting all visitors, assisting with all centre enquiries and completing administrative tasks such as processing memberships.
We’re looking for someone who is open minded, eager to learn, passionate about helping people and available to work between the hours of 4:45am to 9pm Monday through to Sunday

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate outstanding customer service at all times;
• Implement and cancel memberships;
• Efficiently operate general workplace equipment, initiating corrective action where required;
• Support the Team Leader by providing sound judgement, initiative, professionalism and confidentiality;
• Perform tasks of a sensitive nature in an appropriate and professional manner;
• Publish, maintain and review all associated processes and procedures using Promapp, to meet the required timelines of the City;
• Adhere to all City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder policies and procedures, and ensure personal safety at work and that of others;
• Other accountabilities and responsibilities as directed by the Programs Coordinator and/or Recreation Centre Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite application;
• High level communication and interpersonal skills including ability to liaise effectively and courteous with internal and  external customers;
• A customer service focus and excellent customer service skills;
• High degree of self-motivation and excellent personal organisation and time management skills;
• Current satisfactory National Police Clearance;
• Current WA “C” Class driver’s licence
• Demonstrated experience in customer service;
