Job Description:

We are seeking a Client Services Officer to join the Community Support team who support people in the community with disabilities or aged 65 and over. Reporting to the Community Access Coordinator, your role is to

Job Responsibilities:

  • Quickly problem solve any last minute changes to rosters and manage labour shortages.
  • Roster community support services for clients to match service objectives.
  • Responding to a high volume of telephone enquiries from clients in line with best practice customer service.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the complex issues that may be experienced by people with a disability or who are older and their carers, and communicate clearly.
  • Manage client database to ensure information is accurately recorded and up to date.

Job Requirements:

  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude and focus on quality customer service.
  • A clear communication style and calm, professional phone manner.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Post-secondary qualifications or training and experience in rostering, customer service or administration.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience working in a community service environment advantageous.
  • Experience working with Carelink+ or similar client database.
