Assist with the debt recovery process. Through effective communication and customer service provide an efficient, reliable, and confidential Accounts Receivable service relative to the needs of Council. Job Requirements: Sound knowledge of the financial/ accounts receivable functions of a large organisation. Demonstrated experience and competence with financial software. Demonstrated experience and competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and the advanced features (ie Excel, Word, Access and Outlook). Proven ability to ensure data integrity is maintained, with accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to balance competing workloads and deliver within non-negotiable deadlines. Proven experience in negotiating arrangements with customers. Ability to interpret legislation effectively. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to consult, share information and to work collaboratively.
