Job Description: Waverley Council runs high quality services including four Early Education Centres, a Family Day Care service, and Family Support service. The purpose of this busy and versatile position is to liaise with families and provide administration support to the Manager Children & Family Services and the Early Education Centre Directors. Job Responsibilities: Welcome families and provide information and reception support for EEC families, including enquiries about education & care, enrolment, and the waitlist. Promote open and positive communication with families. Provide Centre tours and interviews for waitlisted families and maintain the waitlist, using the MyWaitlist program. Process education and care fees, Ezidebit payments and Child Care Subsidy (CCS) payments into the Harmony program. Submit weekly/fortnightly attendance records and fee processing reports. Comply with Council record keeping requirements. Enter service requests into Council systems for actioning. Support procurement procedures for Children & Family Services (EEC & FDC). Other duties as requested by the Manager Children & Family Services. Job Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates high level computer skills with operational knowledge of Harmony or similar education An understanding of and commitment to EEO Excellent organisational skills. Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013. Demonstrated clerical experience and understanding of basic office and finance systems. A positive, professional and co-operative approach to working with others. Eligible for employment under the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 and the Child and care package.
