Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform one-off exception purchases, negotiate final pricing terms, and select suppliers based on singular demand
  • Support supplier communications, issue resolution, pricing terms negotiations, and contracting
  • Support the purchase order process, including working with business partners on creating and approving the purchase requisition and selecting suppliers
  • Receive, analyze, and resolve supplier inquiries, disputes, and payment discrepancies
  • Manage special projects; i.e. category, continuous improvement
  • Prioritize and validate potential strategic options, determine the benefits cases for these options, and measure the performance against established KPI benchmarks
  • Engaging in sourcing activities such as negotiating contracts, sourcing business needs and working with multiple stakeholders on process improvement
  • Support sourcing events alongside senior buyer, by sending out invitations, evaluating results , communicating with suppliers on quotes, and interfacing with contracting
  • Assess change needs, impacts, and stakeholder management activities and support change management integration activities

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of business experience is required
  • Experience working in a shared service center is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Procurement systems (ERP, SAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Procurement processes is preferred
  • A Bachelor degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Engineering or related field
  • Demonstrated effectively working remotely with business partners
