Job Description: An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager-Leisure to join Zabeel House by Jumeirah the Greens. The main purpose of the role is to assist in leading the SBU's segmented sales effort for Leisure market preferably in a 4* hotels category. Responsible for increasing preference, loyalty and profitable share within assigned Leisure accounts and contribute to overall Sales Team success through the direct sales efforts of revenue generation and value creation. Executes the overall account strategy for assigned Leisure accounts to generate and maximize business. Job Responsibilities: Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices with customers for transient and group business Plan and conduct customer entertainments / outlet experiences across the SBUs within the cluster Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation telephone and direct mail in its market areas Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them. Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence). Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving the set targets and maximum productivity Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set. Keep fully updated of all related sales data and plan sales activities keeping in mind cost/benefit, cost of sale and ROI analyses. Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams Gains understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution. Negotiate room rates/packages with Leisure clients Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels Responsible for 100% account penetration by establishing close relationships at all levels within the assigned accounts Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position in Dubai Proven Leisure Account Management experience Hospitality sales experience within 4* hotel industry in the Middle East Strong sales and presentation skills.
