Job Description: An exciting opportunity has a risen for a colleague to join our Sales team in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray as Director of Sales. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Job Responsibilities: Identify and build productive relationships with business partners. Provide Leadership and direction in the development of budgeted business in relevant target markets. Ensure that performance of sales colleagues achieves SLA level. Comply with all regional reporting requirements in the appropriate timeframe. Ensure there is an aligned approach to business development activities. Ensure all plans and activities lead to achieving a successful budget. Lead and effectively manage the sales team. Maintain effective communications, with regular 121 and team meetings. Set, implement and monitor annual business plan goals and sales targets within the team by business unit. Research, evaluate International & local trends for future business potential. Represent the hotel at road shows, trade fairs and other management events. Job Requirements: Assertive but with a diplomatic approach to business. At least five years in a Sales Director role within the hospitality & hotel management segment, preferably with pre-opening experience. Presentation and public speaking attributes will be a must. Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows – based computer applications. High level commercial & decision making skills. Proven experience in strategic thinking and drawing up strategic sales and marketing plans. Sales driven with proven ability to close sales and achieve results. Proven experience in leading a team of sales & marketing professionals. Knowledge of our key markets essential UK, Russia & CIS, Europe and GCC. Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Organized, disciplined, dedicated, loyal and a self-starter.
