Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and action assigned production support tickets that may require business process and education on “how to” activities within the system to the client facing professional, or confirm a technical issue has occurred requiring technical ticket generation with Nexus
  • Work collaboratively with the functional and technical teams to help identify solutions to business and system process challenges; actively participate in working group sessions defining future enhancements and prioritizing those needed for upcoming maintenance releases
  • Assist lead ticket creator/assigner with ticket creation in ticketing system when requested; prioritize issues & monitor response times allowing for timely ticket closure, including escalation of technical tickets within the technical team if necessary
  • Participate in team testing efforts for enhancements as they become available for release, review and provide feedback on training assets and other materials created to support system evolution, business process, and OCM activities when requested; actively participate and assist with assigned duties as additional technology solutions are incorporated into KPMGs system landscape
  • Assess system performance feedback and communicate scenario(s) with the technical team; update notes on ticket activities as analysis progresses and through ticket closure in the Team’s ticketing system and update the associated client facing professional inquiry within their submitted ticketing page; support the overall production support team with ideas on how to resolve issues and openly share insights to keep team members aware of new learnings
  • Create additional technical support tickets on behalf of the end user for Risk Management related tickets that are unable to be answered within our team

Job Requirements:

  • Possess analytical skills to determine best course of action to bring resolution expeditiously
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum two years of experience providing production support activities associated with a technology solution
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with all levels of client facing professionals and support teams
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to make day to day decisions with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter to follow-up, escalate, and action assignments with little oversight
