Job Description:

The City of Kwinana is now seeking for passionate and driven Community Waste Engagement Officers, to join the Environment Team on a casual basis. You will need to have knowledge of, or passion for, waste management, community behaviour change and good inter-personal skills as you may interact with members of the public

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Waste Education Officer, you will be responsible for visually check kerb-side general waste and recycling bins before collection, and label the bins with appropriate information for the resident about recycling and waste

Job Requirements:

• Good interpersonal skills;
• Able to work in a team environment;
• Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence and access to a car;
• Current Police Clearance

Qualification & Experience:

• Previous bin tagging experience
• Current knowledge of recycling rules
• Data entry experience
• Community engagement experience
• A passion for waste and sustainabilit
