Job Description:
The Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science teaches and conducts cutting-edge research that is both based in and applied to the real world. We are looking for someone who is a world-leading specialist in any field of Psychological and Behavioural Science, who can forge strong inter-disciplinary links across the LSE, in the UK and the rest of the world. The successful candidate will not only be an outstanding researcher, but also an inspirational teacher who will be a core part of the team that positions our Department as a leading global player in the field.
Job Responsibilities:
The post holder will contribute to the intellectual life of the School through conducting and publishing outstanding quality research, engaging in high quality teaching as instructed by the Head of Department, and participating in the School and wider Department activities
Job Requirements:
Candidates should have expertise and research interests in Psychological and Behavioural Science and a PhD in Psychological and Behavioural Science or a related discipline. A proven and significant record of outstanding research as evidenced by existing publications of world leading quality, an outstanding international reputation in Psychological and Behavioural Science, a track record in successfully bidding for external funding, and the ability to undertake research that has impact and engage in knowledge exchange is also essential. They should also have a significant track record of excellence in teaching Psychological and Behavioural Science at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. Candidates should have an established track record in providing leadership in advancing research and teaching and in departmental administration and strategic decision-making.
