Job Description:

We are recruiting a new position to develop and manage relationships with private and public sector partners to bridge academic research and teaching in data science. It involves seeking out, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with non-academic partners, to develop internships, employment schemes, knowledge exchange projects through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme, CASE studentships for PhD fellows, and partnerships for student capstone projects. The post holder will also work closely with LSE Corporate Engagement, Research & Innovation, and Careers teams in this role, developing other business opportunities for the School.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have demonstrable experience of developing and managing client relationships and working with private and public sector partners, preferably from an academic environment. Candidates should be adept at spotting opportunities and making connections that deliver additional value to the organisation. Candidates should be confident and professional, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey complex information to a diverse audience. Candidates should have a proven track record of client relationship management with the ability to maintain accurate records. They should be able to earn trust and respect from a project’s stakeholders. They should be a team player with the ability to develop relationships with colleagues from different disciplines and work collaboratively towards shared objectives and deadlines. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to providing a high-quality service and conveying that standard to those using the Institute’s services.
