Job Description: This position is responsible for ensuring the timely processing of applications, consistency in approach, and quality of Council's donated assets. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking technical assessment of public infrastructure, providing engineering advice for development proposals and review of engineering designs, drawings and reports. This position is accountable for undertaking all aspects of development related applications and providing input into construction works. Job Requirements: To be successful in this role you will need highly-developed levels of problem solving, time management and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, research, public relations skills and community liaison. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification and be a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland or be willing to achieve RPEQ status.
