Job Description:

Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques to provide analysis, mapping, and data validation of midstream assets. Recommends appropriate strategies and data workflows to midstream customers. Works closely with IT to develop efficient processes for data validation, data collection and data flow improvements. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the GIS database through data editing and quality assurance
• Accountable for GIS data entry and quality
• Understand strategic value of data and develop processes to improve efficiencies and data quality practices
• Incorporate GIS data from various sources and in various formats into the GIS system
• Perform data management tasks
• Primary department interface with midstream customers
• Implement and manage workflow processes to ensure that the GIS system is updated timely, accurately and complete
• Provide mapping and data distribution support for the business
• Work with other departments to define and coordinate data management processes including survey data collection, inspections and project completion reports

Job Requirements:

• ESRI GIS software (ArcDesktop 10 or higher, ArcPro)
• APDM (preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years relevant GIS experience in the Midstream industry
• Use of mobile GIS solutions (ArcExplorer, Surev123, Good Earth, etc.)
• Understanding of Web GIS data software (ArcGIS Online, Portal, Geocortex)
• Minimum education requirement: High School degree but College Degree in GIS Information Systems preferred
