Moreton Bay Jobs – Principal Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking someone with experience working with design and construction specifications who holds a degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant qualification, General Induction Licence (White Card) and Class C driver’s licence.

Job Requirements:

• Expert knowledge in the principles and practices relating to the planning, design and construction of transport and stormwater infrastructure
• Knowledge of the State Planning Policy, the SEQ Regional Plan, the Planning scheme, and the Adopted Infrastructure Charge Resolution
• Excellent communication skills to meet the needs of a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to negotiate infrastructure and other commercial agreements.
• Represent Council as required providing expert knowledge and advice to key stakeholders.
• Lead the assessment of development applications in line with legislative, policy and business requirements

Qualification & Experience:

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the delivery of engineering assessment and compliance services
• Demonstrated experience in applying relevant planning and development legislation and policy
