Job Description: We are seeking a talented collaborator and strong communicator to join the ICT team. You’ll leverage off your experience in this space to hit the ground running. Ideally you’ll be well versed in C# (.Net), Javascript, React and other programming languages and experience working with AWS or Azure with other Cloud platforms an advantage. We are a very productive team with lots happening - you’ll need to harness your excellent organisational and time management skills to manage conflicting priorities to meet our deadlines. Job Responsibilities: Design program architecture for intended solution and ensure alignment with Council’s existing solutions and architecture. Develop code to ensure agreed development and project outcomes are achieved whilst ensuring all agreed practices adopted by Council for code and code management are adhered to. Work collaboratively within the ICT team and across council stakeholders to ensure the best practice solution and service outcomes are achieved. Qualification & Experience: High level knowledge and experience working with DevOps practices and frameworks including the analysis, design and architecture of technology solutions. Demonstrated experience writing and working with APIs and web services; previous experience working with IoT networks and devices, edge processing, real-time analytics and machine learning would be an advantage. The ability to identify and implement process improvements to the way we work.
