Moreton Council Jobs – Senior Systems Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented collaborator and strong communicator to join the ICT team. You’ll leverage off your experience in this space to hit the ground running. Ideally you’ll be well versed in C# (.Net), Javascript, React and other programming languages and experience working with AWS or Azure with other Cloud platforms an advantage. We are a very productive team with lots happening – you’ll need to harness your excellent organisational and time management skills to manage conflicting priorities to meet our deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design program architecture for intended solution and ensure alignment with Council’s existing solutions and architecture.
• Develop code to ensure agreed development and project outcomes are achieved whilst ensuring all agreed practices adopted by Council for code and code management are adhered to.
• Work collaboratively within the ICT team and across council stakeholders to ensure the best practice solution and service outcomes are achieved.

Qualification & Experience:

• High level knowledge and experience working with DevOps practices and frameworks including the analysis, design and architecture of technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience writing and working with APIs and web services; previous experience working with IoT networks and devices, edge processing, real-time analytics and machine learning would be an advantage.
• The ability to identify and implement process improvements to the way we work.
