Job Description: We're recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist - Produce to join our agile Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for leading projects to deliver against a large strategic change programme. At any time, this may include multiple in-flight projects or complex initiatives; which can span multiple subject areas and involve large cross-functional project teams. Job Responsibilities: Actively managing supplier base and negotiating with suppliers on service performance Develop strong collaborative relationships with the full Business Team who work on the category to agree the optimum levels of products to meet customer demand Analysing and understanding complex data and present recommendations in a clear and concise way to different stakeholders Actively drive actions that will reduce forecasting variability for their categories, owning the sales alignment for categories Reviewing promotional performance and stock targets on a weekly basis and agree actions with trading to limit impact to inventory levels or wastage at store Working with suppliers and provide accurate information to plan stock levels effectively to maximise sales Leading the category availability of product flow measures within the business team Giving suppliers accurate information to plan stock levels effectively to maximise sales Working with business teams on strategic improvements for their categories such as: case size optimising, lead time optimisation, waste improvement, end to end productivity, lowest cost to serve, exception management Reporting accurately on KPI performance and communicate supply chain category performance out to the wider business in a clear, concise way to drive decision making and action Improving availability all the way through the end to end supply chain from supplier to shelf edge (group) Identifying opportunities for improvement across, stock, availability and waste Job Requirements: Experience of data management, management forecasting and interpreting trends Understanding of project methodology Advanced level knowledge of Excel with excellent stakeholder management ability Previous experience of working with colleagues from all levels of the business.
