Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and assist in the delivery of the program to students, teachers, parents and carers, and the broader community.
• Provide support to the Macedon Ranges Live4Life Partnership Group to ensure all components of the Live4Life model implemented effectively. Including coordinating meetings and building strong relationships with all partner organisations. Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant mental health and wellbeing networks including State and Federal organisations.
• Oversee and support the Macedon Ranges Live4Life Crew of young people to guide the implementation of the model and to host a number of mental health promotion activities annually.
• Oversee and support the delivery of Teen and Youth Mental Health First Aid locally within all local secondary schools and within the community.
• Work with Youth Live4Life and the Partnership Group to develop a road map for sustainability

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience in working with young people (aged 12-25 years).
• Understanding, knowledge and skills of models of youth participation, youth development and inclusion.
• Partnership development skills including experience working across multiple sectors with a range of stakeholders, organisations and community groups
• Ability to manage project budgets, including acquittal and external reporting requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in mental health promotion and suicide prevention, and appropriate delivery to secondary school communities.
• Able to demonstrate evidence of successful implementation of best practice in mental health.
• An understanding of the education system.
