Job Description:

Reporting to the General Manager – Health Safety & Environment, the Executive Manager will lead the development of policies, manage core HSE systems and services, and ensure effective HSE risk management and compliance across the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:

• Acting as People and Culture’s Risk and Compliance Manager and leading the identification, assessment and ongoing management of material risks to People and Culture.
• Overseeing the employee health and wellbeing support programs including corporate wellness, employee assistance, injury management and workers compensation.
• Leading the HSE management reporting function to support executive forums such as Board, ExCo, Enterprise Assurance Forum and Audit and Risk Committee, managing and maintaining HSE data, analytics and reporting systems and obligations.
• Overseeing the development and delivery of HSE programs and key initiatives across the enterprise, leading the development of relevant policy and strategy to drive continual improvement and mature nbn’s approach to HSE.
• Leading the development of robust, pragmatic and aligned strategies to manage HSE and People Domain compliance and operational risks acrossnbn, establishing and embedding a risk aware culture and ensuring a consistent application of key common controls.
• Establishing a high performing team through strong leadership – driving customer service, quality output, team engagement, and delivery, and establishing strong relationships across all levels of the team and leadership atnbn.

Job Requirements:

You will be able to demonstrate practical working knowledge of relevant Safety and Environmental legislation, standards and codes and exceptional leadership, program management and stakeholder management skills, in particular with senior management groups. In addition, it would be desirable to have worked in or have experience of agile environments.
