Job Description:

You’ll play a key part in the day to day delivery of an efficient value added recruitment service to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

The expectation of this role will be to deliver commercial and creative solutions to attract, recruit and retain the best caliber of candidates in line with business needs, whilst positively impacting the business’ recruitment costs and employer brand.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-going recommendations and innovative ideas as to the best approach to filling vacancies taking into consideration the detail of each individual campaign
  • In depth and up to date knowledge of existing and appropriate IT talent pools to proactively identify suitable candidates to meet business needs.
  • Using expert recruitment knowledge in your area of specialism to provide accurate advice on the most suitable recruitment strategies
  • Actively review candidate attraction practices and procedures regularly, by direct involvement in the assessment of candidates and then making recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure a positive experience for all candidates.
  • Work closely with department managers to ensure the candidates positive experience of the brand continues through the on-boarding and induction processes
  • Maintain relationships with your talent pool of candidates to increase engagement and a positive brand experience
  • Research of external recruitment marketplace to keep abreast of innovative and creative ways of filling difficult vacancies.
  • Ensure consistent and professional marketing of content to candidates within the talent pools to maintain engagement and a positive brand experience.
  • Provide a positive and engaging experience to candidates during the on-boarding and induction processes.
  • Work closely with department managers to fully understand technical resourcing requirements within the team and respond quickly to recruitment needs.
  • Work closely within the wider HR team to understand and anticipate confidential requirements allowing you to provide a proactive recruitment service

Job Requirements:

  • Tech and data savvy
  • Display independence and self motivation
  • Ability to work across multiple recruitment requirements with pace
  • Previous agency or in-house recruitment experience
  • Experience with volume based technical/IT specific recruitment
  • Previous experience in a technical and/or IT recruitment role. You will be able to show an understanding of technical jargon such as coding languages, tech stacks and working methodologies.
  • A passion for resourcing and able to headhunt effectively using innovative methods and where appropriate without the use of a platform such as LinkedIn
  • Have advanced LinkedIn Recruiter expertise
  • Competitive / driven character with a desire to deliver results (for the benefit of the department and business)
