Job Description: The business modelling and analysis manager will use multiple datasets to develop analyses and models in order to improve our understanding of the market. The insight gained will be used to improve forecasting accuracy for the business and to support key commercial and operational decisions. Job Responsibilities: To gain a full understanding of the data available regarding relevant products and request data where required for specific analysis and reporting To maintain, update and improve the existing suite of models used by the team using a number of different analytical programmes To gain a good understanding of both the marketplace and the delivery process for products To share the output of the analysis with the business in a clear and understandable way, enabling it to be used to improve forecasting accuracy and to support commercial and operational decision making . To develop, build and and maintain statistical analyses and models to answer critical business questions and improve our understanding of the market. To be seen as the lead within Openreach for statistical analysis and modelling related to the Ethernet and Optical portfolios Job Requirements: Knowledge of statistical software packages (eg Python or similar) as well as Excel Highly organised with ability to manage deliverables on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Familiar with analytical techniques such as logistic regression, survival modelling and time series analysis Experience of developing advanced statistical analyses using large data sets.
