Job Description: A great opportunity has arisen for a Resource Planning & Forecasting Manager here at Openreach. This role will drive an exceptional customer experience by designing / enhancing and implementing controls across the full End-to-End (E2E) process of Fibre to the premises (FTTP). This role will be responsible for delivering insightful analysis which drives efficiencies and improvements across the FTTP Business. It will collate information from all lines of business as well managing and maintaining this information for SD FTTP. Ensuring visibility is across all lines of business. The role requires a technically minded individual, that has expert skills in insight creation, modelling, forecasting and planning. The role holder will have oversight of the full end-to-end planning process and be managing multiple stakeholders daily Job Responsibilities: Ability to act and react quickly within an ever-changing environment and taking ownership around the delivery of E2E process. Chasing the necessary stakeholders to provide the information required on a monthly basis to form an E2E view Looking for opportunities to simplify processes to bring about efficiencies Ability to understand the granularity of the data and presenting this to the wider business with confidence. Putting the customer first in all aspects of planning and control. Ensuring Supply and demand are understood and providing insightful analysis within these areas to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the operating models. Being innovative and looking for new opportunities that bring about efficacies within the operating models across the lines of business. Ensuring stakeholders have all the relevant information and insightful analytics available to them, which empower them to make operational decisions. Collating all the information from each line of business within SD and maintaining this information’s accuracy Delivering to key stakeholders within Openreach across the E2E forecasting and planning remit. Defining and delivering complex analytical planning and forecasting operating models to a defined business unit, programme or project which provide relevant and meaningful insight that leads to efficiencies in the balance between supply and demand. Challenging the data and ensuring accuracy and ensuring data sources are reliable in line with one point of the truth. Job Requirements: Articulate, literate and professional always Proven track record of improving business through insights specifically strategic problem solving, were problems were complex / ambiguous / unstructured A strong attention to detail Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Confident, proactive and adaptable Proven design and implementation of forecasting models and pulling multiple lies of business into one view Has a proven track record delivering high quality forecasts and plans with a deep understanding of the operational dynamics of a business.
