Job Description: The Supply Chain Planning Systems Professional will be a critical role in facilitating the Supply Chain Planning processes that will contribute to achieving Openreach’s demand and growth ambition. This role is instrumental in planning how our budget is used and will ensure the supply of stores needed for Openreach’s operational teams are planned at the right levels across our central warehouses and wider distribution network. Job Responsibilities: Set planning systems parameters for all items applying appropriate segmentation such as Pareto, critical items, volume/value/variability matrix Expert user of the system functionality within the supply chain planning software solution Support weekly meetings with the portfolio teams to review planning systems performance and then agree actions required adhering to the governance and sign off processes in place make any changes to systems parameters and master data as required Control the product life cycle master data ensuring effective planning and visibility of the phase in and phase out of new/old products Providing output on inventory plan and impact assessment Identifying opportunities and constraints in the supply chain planning systems and then work with BT Group and external vendors to produce a technology improvement roadmap to continue support the evolving business needs Monthly preparation of reports and analysis to underpin the Supply Chain Planning cycle Job Requirements: Problem solving and conflict management High level of commercial awareness and business acumen Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail Will understand complex issues and able to distil learning and simplify complex scenarios Proficient in master data management and optimisation Expert in Supply Chain Planning Systems and MS Excel Stakeholder management & experience of programme delivery Programme Management experience of planning systems implementations Proven Supply Chain Planning Systems experience (at least two different systems, one being SAP IBP/APO) Job Details: Company: Openreach Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Inverness, GB Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.com
