Job Description:

This position provides subject matter expertise to influence, advocate and implement the provision of cultural services and infrastructure throughout the Parramatta Local Government Area. The position drives the implementation of COP’s Cultural Plan and related cultural infrastructure priorities to deliver great experiences, champion culture, celebrate diversity and share the stories of the City of Parramatta.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify, investigate, cultivate and leverage strategic opportunities to deliver new significant cultural services and infrastructure.
• Identify, develop and manage the implementation of integrated strategic cultural services and infrastructure outcomes across the region.
• Coordinate and cultivate key strategic partnerships within industry and political contexts for new significant cultural services and infrastructure.

Qualification & Experience:

• 5+ years demonstrated experience in the development of major cultural projects, strategic programs and infrastructure developmen
• Minimum degree qualifications in a relevant discipline, including cultural planning, cultural heritage, project management or related degree.
• 5+ years’ demonstrated experience in leading and developing complex and large-scale cultural services projects
• 5+ years’ demonstrated experience in delivering cultural projects to a high standard to meet financial and other business performance criteria.
