Job Description: At Patagonia Provisions our goals are the same as with everything we do: we are in business to save our home planet, and nowhere is the crisis more pressing than in the food industry. As an Operations & Finance Analyst you play a critical role supporting the day to day operations of the Provisions business. In this role you will work closely with our Operations & Finance teams to manage the purchasing, shipping & logistics, receiving, and Accounts Payable as well as working closely with the greater operations team to manage inventory and secure a stable supply of product to meet our sales goals. You will be a good fit for this role if you have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, as well as an ability and willingness to work in a cross functional environment and maintain a problem-solving mindset on a variety of projects. Job Responsibilities: Support Finance Team by assisting with reporting, analysis, and data management. Work closely with Operations counterparts and Product & Finance teams to maintain a strong supply of product to meet Provisions’ growth targets. Work directly with our smaller Market Place partners to manage forecasting and overall inventory management of respective product line and track product performance to support business decisions and optimization. Take lead of Provisions procure to pay cycle – purchase order management, shipping & logistics, receiving, and Accounts Payable. Support other Finance and Operations tasks based on business needs. Develop & improve systems and processes to improve flow of product and information as the business grows. Job Requirements: Excellent written & verbal communicator amongst internal and external teams and stakeholders. Proven ability to thrive understand the big picture while being able to simultaneously thrive in the details. Solution oriented with a passion for systems and processes with a continuous improvement mindset. Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. 3-5 years of food industry experience, emphasis in organic and regenerative practices. Ability to prioritize workload in an constantly evolving landscape. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills ideally with experience in a start-up environment. Strong excel and systems skills, experience with NetSuite or another ERP system a plus. Excitement and eagerness to support a variety of different aspects of a food business. Bachelor’s degree in operations, business management or another technical field. Experience with Cost of goods sold and manufacturing accounting.
