Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to support with the COVID19 immunization efforts while providing excellent customer service and genuine care to our customers. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all essential duties in a safe manner consistent with Rite Aid policies and state and federal laws. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Rite Aid’s efforts in the pandemic by administering the COVID19 vaccines and monitor patient for potential adverse reaction to the COVID19 vaccine
- Travel to stores and to clinics within the division to administer the COVID19 vaccine.
- Review, collect and file patient information, replenish vaccine supplies, organize vaccination paperwork and reference materials, and any other duties required during vaccination administration
- Assist in organizing and facilitating workflow of COVID19 vaccine clinics
Job Requirements:
- Immunization Certification required
- BLS CPR Certification required
- Doctoral Degree (Pharm.D.) Pharmacy preferred
- Immunization License required by state regulations required
- Licensed by board of profession in state of practice is required (ex. pharmacist)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required
