Job Description:
Working in the heartbeat of the operation, The Shift Flow Manager will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and manage the Flow Room team who monitor and control the APSS and system software in order to ensure that all key performance measures for system availability and efficiency are achieved. They will manage the relationship between the operations and engineering teams and provide systems reporting for the senior leadership team. The Flow Room Manager must have a sound understanding of the functionality and operation of the APSS and play a key role in ensuring the site performs effectively and efficiently.
Job Requirements:
- Strong data analytic skills
- Proven leadership experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing a team of skilled managers in a Flow Room logistics environment
- Independent, self-reliant, enthusiastic, and determined. The job holder will need to demonstrate tenacity and the capacity for sustained effort and hard work over extended periods
- Ability to translate technical information to a non technical audience
- Team management, including the management of teams that operate 24/7
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced automated environment
- Experience of designing and maintaining system and flow/control room processes
- Skilled and intuitive in identifying solutions to problems. Uses the expertise, skills and experience of others as appropriate
- Experience working with SCADA & WMS
- Good understanding of C.I principles
- Strong Excel & Microsoft skills
- Adaptable and receptive to new ideas from any source. Willing and able to adjust to changing demands and circumstances.
- Experience of working in a flow / control room environment or an automated processing facility.
