Ryde Library Jobs – Community Development Officer

Job Description:

City of Ryde has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Community Development professional who has experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to design, implement and evaluate a range of community development strategies. You will be responsible for driving initiatives with a strong focus on supporting families and young people.

Using your experience and relationship building skills, you will lead strategic projects aligned to the City of Ryde Community Strategic Plan and Social Plan in collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams and in partnership with not-for-profit organisations, business and government stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and networking skills with track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
• Proven experience in managing projects, events and creative initiatives leading to successful community outcomes
• Covid-19 vaccinate

Qualification & Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences or a similar field or demonstrated, relevant equivalent professional experience and training.
• Proven experience working with youth, community members and community groups and organisations.
