Job Description:

As a System & Content Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of our HR technologies and ensuring that content (training materials, SharePoint sites, policies etc.) are kept accurate and up to date. You will show a passion for delivering a great user experience through development of our support materials, resolution of end user queries and providing system administration activity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with 3rd party support and Sainsbury’s Tech teams & to progress technical issues, new requests and advice
  • Be proactive in monitoring queries that are being received to spot patterns that can lead to the development of our support offering with the aim of decreasing end user queries and questions
  • Run regular audit reports to review system access, key data risk areas etc. highlighting any issues to the relevant teams
  • Liaise with internal support teams outside of HR (e.g. DTSA) to better understand support queries that are being received, taking action to reduce volume of contacts
  • Take ownership for system administration in relation to user account provision, system hierarchy
    maintenance, etc.
  • Provide first/second line support for HR & colleague questions and queries relating to our HR technologies ensuring that all are resolved within agreed SLAs
  • Work with wider HR Solutions team to triage cases and ensure that issues are passed to appropriate teams for resolution
  • Provide support to the HR Systems Operations Manager in administering regular system updates and outages
  • Develop and maintain end-user support & training documentation that provides simple guidance, taking action where materials are not fulfilling requirements
  • Create and maintain system process documentation that provide guidance on critical maintenance tasks for HR systems

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in writing end user support materials that provide simple, clear advice
  • Experience of working with a range of end users at varying levels of the organisation
  • Knowledge of HR departments and their key activities
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software
  • Experience of working across a range of HR systems, demonstrating strong knowledge of how these can have interdependencies
  • Experience with either Oracle HCM AND/OR Zellis ResourceLinks
  • Knowledge of implementing security access controls within HR systems
  • Knowledge of building organisation structures that accurately represent the business
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products in particular Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and understanding of programming languages, specifically VBA
